In an effort to drive traffic to the seafood department during a slower season at Whole Foods Market, I developed a program that brought a fresh perspective on the somewhat stale “recipe video” concept through the use of well-known local food influencers. The goal for this program was two fold: to partner with on brand, local NYC chefs (who had products launching in store), and to showcase how these products could be used in creative seafood recipes. A four week integrated online campaign developed as a result with a variety of chefs and several quick, easy recipes for customers to replicate. Content was shared not only on Whole Foods Market social accounts, but also on the chef social pages, in stores and through email marketing. This generated countless impressions and boosted sales in the seafood departments.
